If you're in Greece before the 6th June 2004 you are advised to pay a visit to an exhibition of art inspired by the Paralympic Games.

An exhibition of paintings on the theme of the Paralympic Games opened today (26 May) in the temporary exhibition hall of the Thessaloniki Annex of the War Museum (Grigoriou Lambraki 4).

The event is part organised by the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki. Over fifty paintings by teachers and students of the Fine and Applied Arts Department of the School of Fine Arts will be on display at the exhibition.

The artists found their inspiration in the values of the Paralympic Games (Pursuit, Strength, Inspiration, and Celebration). Profits from the sales of the works will go to the Paralympic Games and the Greek Paralympic Movement.
