Group A Round-Up (Group B)

See Table

GB 59 Australia 80
Brazil 74 France 54
Italy 54 Canada 83

GB's performance was summed up by GB Captain Andy Blake,

"
Horrible!! We played horrible." And they did.

After starting with some idea of what was at stake, the GB team folded as soon as their shooting floundered in the 2nd quarter.

Resorting to 3 point field goals would have been a good tactic, but when they don't go in the tactic should change. Unfortunately for GB 2 pointers under the basket weren't going in either.

If there were any doubters about the Australians - they are 2 from 2 and looking good.

Brazil are also looking good to
grab the 4th place in this group. Canada are on a roll and look unbeatable with a second straight win.

Meanwhile GB and France look like fighting the Greeks for the Paralympic Wooden Spoon - unless either team can pull out something exceptional in the remaining matches.
