Iran was held to second place by Bosnia and Herzegovina in the pre-Paralympic Sitting Volleyball Tournament at Leverkusen, (Germany).

The four times Paralympic Champions Iran were defeated in straight sets (25-22, 25-23, 25-22) by a Bosnian team looking to prevent a fifth Paralympic gold medal for the Iranians in Athens.

Germany and Finland were third and fourth.
